Brookhaven Golf Club first opened for play in 1960. The course was designed by George Pulver.
Brookhaven Golf Club is situated amid the Adirondack Mountains. It was designed to play through the wooded terrain and features some narrow dogleg fairways. In addition to the narrow fairways, the course has small greens, so shot accuracy is essential. Water hazards (two ponds and several creeks) come into play on at least four holes.
Brookhaven Golf Club measures 6570 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 125 and a 71.3 USGA rating. The course has 3 sets of tees for different skill levels.
Blue tees: par-71, 6,570 yards, 71.3/125
White tees: par-71, 6,249 yards, 71.0/123
Red tees: par-70, 4,806 yards, 70.0/121
